Slack Notifications New

Send new Google reviews straight to a Slack channel, with star-rating triggers and per-location targeting for each notification.

Slack notifications post a message to a Slack channel of your choice every time a new Google review lands on one of your connected locations. Your team sees every review where they already work, without checking the Localith dashboard.

Set up a Slack notification

  1. Click Notifications in the bottom left corner of your Localith dashboard.
  2. Select New notification, then choose Slack notification.
  3. Give the notification a name.
  4. Select which star ratings should trigger the alert, or click Select all to include every rating.
  5. Click Save and close.
  6. Choose the locations this notification should cover.
  7. Connect the Slack channel where the alerts should be posted.
  8. Click Set live at the top of the page to activate the notification.

Route different ratings to different channels

Each notification has its own name, star-rating triggers, locations, and Slack channel. You can create one notification that sends 1- and 2-star reviews to your support channel, and a separate one that shares 5-star reviews with the wider team.

Need more than Slack?

If you want review alerts in other tools, or extra logic between the review and the message, connect Localith to Zapier or n8n. Both can route new reviews to thousands of apps and add filters, formatting, or approval steps along the way.
